Key Engineering and Hygiene Supplies Ltd are located in purpose built office and warehouse premises on Preston’s redeveloped dockland area. Established in 1992, we are major suppliers throughout the North West region of engineering products, hygiene supplies and personal protection equipment (PPE), workwear and corporate clothing. We are proud to have won large contracts to supply many of the local councils and sell into a vast majority of the large manufacturing companies in the area. Our customer base is very diverse and not only includes traditional engineering based firms but also businesses from the local food industry, schools, leisure centres, nurseries and into the service industry. 2009 will see the completion of our warehouse extension doubling the size of our stock holding capabilities.

Our product range is vast. We supply a full range of cleaning chemicals manufactured by Evans Vanodine International Ltd, paper products such as centre feed and toilet rolls, refuse sacks, hardware items such as brushes and mopping systems, safety clothing, footwear, workwear and corporate clothing along with a full range of safety equipment and hazard signs. We are able to provide our customers with an in house embroidery and heat seal service to allow garments to be branded with company logos.

We can source technical engineering equipment, hand tooling, storage equipment, cabinets, and lockers. We are agents for many of the major tooling manufacturers, including Titex + Prototyp UK, Guhring Ltd, Europa Tool, Sandvik Ltd, Kennametal UK Ltd, Hydra Clarkson International, Presto International Ltd, Mitutoyo UK Ltd, Beta Tools UK Ltd, Gedore, Stahlwille Tools, Robert Bosch Ltd, Deb Ltd, and Fosse Ltd.

All our products are accompanied by full technical backup either from our representatives or from our suppliers. We are able to operate kanban systems, can offer consignment stock and operate as a single source supplier.
